Do you qualify for a diploma under new state law?

Effective Jan. 1, Senate Bill 172 suspends the administration of CAHSEE for 2015-2016, 2016-17 and 2017-18 school years. The law requires that schools grant a diploma to any pupil who completed grade 12 in the 2003–04 school year or a subsequent school year and met all applicable graduation requirements other than the passage of the high school exit examination. Barstow Unified School District will comply with the law and issue diplomas to those eligible.
