The School Accountability Report Card (SARC) was established by Proposition 98, the School Funding Initiative which was passed by California voters in November 1988. The Report Card, to be issued annually by each school in the state of California, provides for parents and other interested people a variety of information about the school, its resources, its success, and the areas in which improvements are needed.
