School facility complaints are filed at the school first, with the school principal. If the complaint is beyond the principal's authority, the principal forwards the complaint to the school district within 10 working days. Reasonable efforts to investigate are made, and valid complaints should be remedied within 30 working days from the date of initial filing. A resolution is sent to the complainant (and to the school district if the principal responds) within 45 working days from the date of the initial filing. A complaint may be filed anonymously. A complainant who identifies himself or herself is entitled to a response if he or she indicates that a response is requested.
