Resources:

    1. The Resources link is for parents and students to search and view together for areas of interest concerning the student's academics at their educational level.  Skyline provides an educational path for families and students to take together through the World Wide Web.  We stress however that some sites contain advertisements and academic information that is strictly for older students and any web surfing must be montored at all times by a responsible adult.  Please make sure to preview the site and areas of interest for content relevant to the student's age and academic level.  Links change, information updates, and new activites are always created, so please be aware, Skyline is not responsible for these changes at these websites.  It is the sole responsibility of the parent/guardian or responsible adult to make sure that these sites are appropriate for their child's age and academic level.  We hope that these web site links support, educate, and entertain you through your Skyline academic experience. (Click here) for Skyline Resources Link.

Fundraising Opportunities:

     1.  (Recycling) Skyline North has many opportunities throughout the year for parents/guardians and family members to donate to their child's classroom.  With the current budget cuts in the public school system, teachers and staff  members are having a difficult time gathering funds for field trips, supplies for classrooms and after school activity clubs, and etc...  Information about these fundraising opportunities will be available in flyers, on the Skyline Web Page, or the Bear News.  One way you can help both the environment and classroom fundraising is by recycling your aluminum cans, plastic beverage bottles, and glass beverage bottles with "CRV" (California Redemption Value) written on the container.  You can turn in the recycled cans and bottles to your teacher (Check with your teacher first) or any money donations to the office.  Any help that you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Please sort the aluminum cans, plastic beverage bottles, and glass beverage bottles seperate from each other.  All containers must read "CRV" (California Redemption Value) on them.

Classroom Sponsorship:

     1.  (Time Magazine For Kids)  Skyline North is always looking for ways to improve student academics throughout the year.  With your help, You can sponsor a classroom by purchasing a full year's subscription to Time Magazine For Kids (Click here) so that the students in the classroom can enjoy reading articles about a variey of important current events in the world.  The current deal by Time Magazine at the moment is $4.42 per student (Offer good until 10/16/08).  Interested sponsors should call Skyline at (760)255-6090 or go into the office, and identify yourself and your child.  Inform Ms. Sandy or Ms. Betty that you would like to sponsor your child's classroom with a year's subscription to Time Magazine For Kids (Click here).  Ask Ms. Sandy or Ms. Betty how many students are in the classroom and multiply that number times $4.42.  Once completed, bring in cash or a check (Make the check out to Skyline North) to cover the balance and give it to Ms. Sandy or Ms. Betty.  This is exciting and we definitely appreciate everyone that can help.
